    David Abercrombie

    O: 251-948-5200

David Abercrombie, an Ono Island native, joined Bellator Real Estate as a Realtor® in 2013 after 18 years of work in the IT Industry. He brings to the table over 10 years of experience in customer management and problem solving gained from working with DNS, web and email servers for a Fortune 500 company.

David attended the University of Alabama for three years where he studied chemical engineering and marketing. He completed his degree at the University of South Alabama. Prior to his studying at Alabama, David attended the Florida Institute of Technology where he studied in-flight technology. As a former licensed pilot, he is proud to have been the first pilot ever to solo out of the Gulf Shores Airport in 1983.

During David’s long career in the computer industry, he has owned his own business as well as worked his way up the corporate ladder in the CLEC industry. He has experience assisting a sales force and understands the importance of attention to detail in processing a transaction.

David’s transition to real estate sales was natural— his aptitude for technology has proven the perfect tool for marketing high-end listings, while his management background and love for the beach have been a recipe for success in the Gulf Coast market.

After the passing of his wife in 2012, David returned to his home on Ono Island to be with family and raise his 16 year old son and 13 year old daughter. He was one of the first families to live on Ono Island year round, and he enjoys passing that tradition on to his children. In his spare time, David enjoys teaching his kids how to fish, ski, tube and enjoy the Gulf life.
